Loir Valley

The Loir valley by bike – V47 cycle route

This 320km route runs along the Loir river through Eure-et-Loir, Loir-et-Cher, Sarthe and Anjou. From Saint Eman (near Chartres) to Angers, this is the first cycle route in France to follow a river from its source. In Angers, you can join the “Loire à vélo” route.

Located on this route, Les Portes de l’Anjou campsite welcomes you for a well-deserved break.

Base de Loisirs de la Monnerie in La Flèche

Surrounded by a swimming lake bordered by a sandy beach and a fishing lake, the La Monnerie site welcomes walkers and nature lovers and has been awarded the Blue Flag label.

8,000m² beach with lifeguard surveillance in season.
Numerous leisure facilities and activities: fishing, beach soccer, beach volleyball, sailing club, pedal-boat and bicycle rentals, picnic tables, kite and boomerang promontory, mixed pedestrian/cycle path along the lake, fitness trail, hiking trails, permanent orienteering course, disc golf course.
